New member bodegas: Vinos y Viñedos Dominio Lasierpe and Pago de Larrainzar

The Association has gained two new members this year: Vinos y Viñedos Dominio Lasierpe and Bodegas Pago de Larrainzar.

Vinos y Viñedos Dominio Lasierpe is in Cintruénigo, on the banks of the upper River Alhama. makes top-quality wines with grapes from its own vineyards. Each plot of the 1300 hectares of vineyards has its own characteristics and is tended individually. They grow Garnacha, Tempranillo, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Graciano, Mazuelo, Viura, Chardonnay and Moscatel Grano Menudo.

Bodegas Pago de Larrainzar was inaugurated in September 2006. It is located next to the Monastery of Irache, at the foot of Montejurra, near Estella. It is a family project led by Miguel Canalejo Larrainzar. The bodega makes a single red wine. It is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet, Tempranillo and Garnacha grapes from 15 hectares of state-owned vineyards planted adjoining the bodega.
