Añorbe is a small town located in the Valdizarbe valley, which, being on the pilgrim’s route to Compostela, has a long-standing tradition in winemaking.
In 1990, eight families from Añorbe decided to renew this tradition and began a project which included planting 230 hectares of vineyards and building a bodega to turn their own grapes into wine.
Having successfully achieved this, Nekeas is now producing quality wines in which traditional customs and modern vinification techniques go hand in hand.
