The Bodega is located in a privileged area for grape-growing, in the San Esteban valley, a winemaking area within Tierra Estella. It was founded in 1988, with the goal of reviving an old family tradition. It owns 135 Ha of espalier trained vines in two clearly different climatic areas. The high area (550 m to 650 m above sea level) has marked temperature differences between night and day, essential for Chardonnay grapes.
The low area (350 m to 450 m above sea level) is more temperate, ideally suited for Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Tempranillo grapes.
The winemaking process utilises a pneumatic press and refrigerated stainless steel tanks, while 1,800 French Allier oak and American oak casks are used to age the wines. The Reserva and Gran Reserva cellars hold around 600,000 bottles.
